Build your outdoor-painting adventurous spirit with this deep-dive into the pleasures of watercoloring in the great outdoors.

Learn the essential skills needed to paint skies, trees, barns, (even horses). Become an expert on materials, picking your subject, building a composition, and getting striking effects with watercolors — all while on location.

Over two fun-filled days, you’ll roam the Colorado landscape with master painter David Pyle and his paintbox. He’ll share loads of tips and tools for working comfortably and effectively outdoors. You’ll work from a reference photo to complete a painting, step-by-step.

This is an in-depth workshop, covering all aspects of working in the field. No matter how experienced you are — from beginner to advanced-intermediate— you’ll learn how to navigate the challenges and joys of turning any landscape into a powerful painting.
