Ready to become an idea machine?
Fire up your imagination to come up with tons of ideas, then edit and polish them into gorgeous pieces of art! Never look at a blank page again with no idea what to make.
Illustrator Salli Swindell is going to show you how in this fun, accessible workshop. Great for beginners, experts and professionals alike.
Developing your creativity and discovering new ideas is something you can definitely practice and strengthen. Learn Salli’s brainstorming process for coming up with an endless supply of fresh ideas and see inspiration in a whole new way.
During the workshop, you’ll create lots of thumbnail sketches and build your own library of ideas. You’ll think and draw, and learn to enter the “Judge-Free Zone”. The workshop will prepare you to edit and develop your thumbnail sketches into polished pieces of art.
This is a live workshop with Q&A throughout the presentation. Can’t make it live or want to rewatch? You’ll get unlimited access to the recording for 6 months!

Supplies
- 3-4 pads of Post-it notes (3 x 3, any range of colors including pink)
- Black markers like Sharpie (range of tips, fine and medium)
- Pencil
- 3-5 sheets of white paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors

Salli is an award-winning illustrator with over 30 years of experience creating art for the greeting card industry. When not in her studio, she’s probably at the kitchen counter filling her sketchbook pages with food drawings, patterns, and other random things. Salli is a 7-time nominee and 3-time winner of the Louie Award, the greeting card industry’s highest honor.
