Alissa Saunders

Alissa lives with her family outside Boston. As a working mother of two young children, she turned to art as a form of active meditation to help find balance between work and family life. She has been an active member of Sketchbook Skool since the very first class in 2014.

This led to a daily creative practice that has helped her to see the world differently and to find small moments of joy in everyday life. This discovery is something that Alissa loves to share with others through teaching.

Alissa’s art is inspired by nature and by her family. She enjoys nature journaling, drawing from direct observation, and everything watercolor.
