In last week’s Storytelling klass, Sketchbook Skool fakulty member Jean-Christophe Defline talked about the importance of doing a drawing a day. The daily sketches he does in the accordion sketchbook he showed in the klass keep him practicing, which helps him refine his skills and make the amazing book cover-style art he does of his family’s vacations. Drawing every day is also his form of therapy, as he wrote about in this guest blog post. Sketchbook Skool co-founder Koosje Koene was inspired by Jean-Christophe’s accordion book of daily sketches, so in this week’s Study Hall, she shows the amazing results of one she just finished, and shows you how to start one.

You can do great work like this too! As Jean-Christophe and Koosje demonstrated, it’s all about a daily practice. Our new kourse, A Drawing A Day, gives you all the basics and how to refine and find your own style in a month of daily drawing lessons. Drawing A Day starts on January 2, but you can enroll right now!
