Study Hall: Drawing Birds

By

Have you ever tried drawing outside, in nature? How about drawing nature in a city? Come with us to a park in the Netherlands and give on location nature sketching a try.

In this week’s klass in our Seeing kourse, artist and naturalist Cathy Johnson takes you to the great (really great!) outdoors, her cabin in the woods, where she gives a lesson in sketching birds and nature. In this Study Hall, Sketchbook Skool co-founder Koosje Koene tries the city version, going to a park in Amsterdam to sketch the local wildlife: pigeons.

Check out what Koosje does with a brush pen and some markers on a lovely spring day, and you’ll want to pack up your sketchbook and head outside!
