I love staying in unique places when I travel thanks to Air BnB. I also love seeing how people all over the world choose to decorate their spaces, especially when they display local art or unique objects to jazz up their digs. Sketchbook Skool student Helen Wilding, got to add her own artistic touch to the Caher Castle, in Croughwell, County Galway.
While vacationing with her husband, Helen was fascinated with the architecture and spent lots of time documenting its features in her sketchbook. She made a little video little video about it, and the owner of the castle ended up commissioning her for some framed drawings to display permanently in the space. Now, future guests at the castle will be able to enjoy Helen’s drawings and Helen has a delightful record of her trip to this magical place.
