One of the scariest things for people who like to draw is…not having anything to draw. When inspiration vanishes like a ghost, or it feels like mask-wearing monkeys stole all your ideas in the middle of the night. You wake up and think, I want to draw, but I just don’t know what to draw! Freaky, but common. Well, we just found a seasonally-appropriate solution to this problem: Drawlloween! The creation of Brian Soria, an artist and graphic designer based in Austin, Texas, Drawlloween is like a spooktacular version of Inktober, with 31 days of sketching monsters, witches, aliens, and all other Halloween subjects. You can check out some Drawlloween work on their Instagram and Facebook pages. If you want to participate, just sketch the prompt of the day from the calendar above and post on social media with the hashtag #Drawlloween16. This is a great way to say BOO to the inspiration-thieving monkey!
