Draw Tip Tuesday: How to Draw a Hand

In this week’s Draw Tip Tuesday, Koosje Koene, co-founder of Sketchbook Skool, shares a trick for drawing a hand.

Last week Koosje showed how to draw a bicycle by drawing the negative spaces found in between it’s parts. This week she takes the same technique and applies it to drawing a hand.

This is a great technique to tackle something that feels complicated. It helps break down the object into manageable pieces. Try drawing something you may feel intimidated by using this technique and see if it helps!
