Here’s something Sketchbook Skool students know from personal experience: Making art reduces stress. You don’t even have to be that good at it (though we think the only bad art is art that isn’t made). This article from the Huffington Post reports that a study of art therapy showed subjects who sketched, painted, or sculpted for 45 minutes showed lower stress-related hormones than those who didn’t.
