Have you ever tried drawing something kind of tricky, only to find that it’s even trickier and more difficult than you thought? Don’t let frustration take that pen out of your hand! Sketchbook Skool co-founder Koosje Koene shows you how to handle a challenging subject in this week’s Draw Tip Tuesday.

By teaching your eyes how to see the spaces and shapes around the object first, you can draw your subject from the outside and work your way in. Pretty cool, right?
