Study Hall: Danny Draws a Lapin-Style “Big Head” Portrait

By

The last time a Sketchbook Skool co-founder drew a “big head” portrait in the style of SBS fakulty member Lapin, Koosje Koene drew a special guest—her nephew Milo. This time, SBS co-founder Danny Gregory‘s special guest and model is someone you’ve seen in Danny’s artwork before: Joe the Daschund.

Joe is an excellent model (and very affectionate, too!) as Danny uses his iPad and the Procreate app to create two portraits in Lapin’s signature style.

Grab someone you love, be it person, dog, or cat, and try this “big head” style portrait. We can’t wait to see the results!
