Art Therapy Thursday: The Creative Block – Wrapping Up

By

If you’ve ever come up against a creative wall, where inspiration seems to have stopped coming by for tea and you just can’t get back to drawing, you’ll know what Sketchbook Skool co-founder Koosje Koene has been going through.

Each Thursday for the past month, she’s been interviewing creative people about how they deal with their creative dry spells. In this week’s video, she’s made a list of all the great advice and suggestions she’s been given, and what she’s learned through her own process.

The most important part of dealing with an artistic slump is not to get too down about it, and not let it keep you from being creative. Cook, play piano or guitar, try a different medium, act, sing, try wearing a completely different style of outfits. You’re naturally creative, and even if you feel like you can’t make art, you can be creative in everything you do.

Everyone at Sketchbook Skool wishes you all a happy Thanksgiving, and stay tuned for a big announcement next week!
