A Drawing A Day: August Prompts List

By

It’s the eighth straight month of the Sketchbook Skool A Drawing A Day Challenge! Here are this month’s daily drawing prompts.

Back in January, we started a challenge to draw something every day. Why? Because it’s a guarantee that no matter what kind of day you’re having, you’ll be able to relax into a drawing meditation. It means your drawing skills will get better steadily. And because challenges are fun!

How do you participate in the SBS A Drawing A Day Challenge? Just draw something, every day. Draw whatever you like, or use one of the prompts we’ve given you here. Join the A Drawing A Day group on Facebook. All skill levels are welcome! When you post your art, add the hashtag #sbsadrawingaday so we can find it and cheer you on.

If you need a kickstart of a few lessons, check out the kourse that started the challenge, A Drawing A Day. In this four-week workshop, Sketchbook Skool fakulty member Veronica Lawlor gives you daily lessons in the building blocks of drawing, with creative twists that even seasoned sketchers will find exciting.

Learn how to live a more creative life, one sketch at a time. Join us for A Drawing A Day!
