Fakulty news: Sketchbook Skool fakulty member Felix Scheinberger has a new book out! It’s called Dare to Sketch, and we want to give you a chance to win a copy!

But first, some rave reviews about the book. Felix starts Dare to Sketch by answering the one question that can keep someone from daring to sketch: Why draw? “My sketchbook is something very personal. I use it to describe my world and my life,” he writes. “I am interested in the world I live in, and in a conscious and prolonged process that lasts longer than that of taking a snapshot. I deal with the world.”

Felix then goes into succinct passages on tools and types of sketchbooks, and then instruction—that kind that promotes personal freedom to develop your own style, rather than copying his or anyone else’s. All of the pages feature Felix’s artwork, and his varying styles will enrich your own visual vocabulary. Simply put: It’s a great book!

To celebrate the book’s release, we’re giving you a chance to win one of five copies. Click here to enter for a chance to win! The Sketchbook Skool Dare to Sketch Giveaway will run from October 4 to October 11, 2017. Enter now, and Dare to Sketch!
